Assessment of Project’s Impacts on Ecosystem Functions
Measuring, evaluating, and clearly demonstrating the direct connections between project activities and key ecosystem services is important for assessing wider impacts of the project and for lesson-learning. In order to develop the relevant indicators, we will consult the Mapping and Assessing Ecosystems and their Services (MAES) guidelines. According to the MAES guidelines and taking into account the nature of our project, we expect that most of the selected indicators will be related to forest ecosystem services and in part to grassland services.
