11th Steering group meeting, 5th Monitor visit, and a field trip in the Slovenian Alps

Posted - May 30, 2022

Approximately twice a year the whole LIFE Lynx project team meets to evaluate the work done so far and to prepare plans for the work ahead. Between May 23 and 25, project partners from all participating organizations met for the 11th time, this time in Gorenjska region. On the first day, partners prepared an overview of their activities in the last year and made plans for the future, which they presented to the project monitor Mr. Mitja Kaligarič, the next day. The last day of the visit was a field trip excursion. Some of the partners visited Pokljuka and Jelovica, areas important for lynx reintroduction to the Slovenian Alps, the so-called lynx stepping stone area.

The project partners and project monitor are very satisfied with the results, as the project is running smoothly and as planned.
