Between April 17 and 18, project partners from all participating organizations met for the 12th time, this time in Tarvisio, Italy. On the first day, partners presented an overview of project activities in the last year and made plans for the last year of the project. The next day progress of the project was presented to the project monitor, Mr. Mitja Kaligarič, the representative of the European Commission, Ms. Anita Fassio and Ms. Maja Humar, a representative of the biggest co-financer of the project, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Spatial Planning. They were all impressed by the achievements of the project and complimented the steering group for an exemplary running of the project. After the meetings, participants visited the new lynx trail, that was prepared by Progetto Lince Italia and Carabinieri Forestali in the scope of the LIFE Lynx project.
The next day, Mr. Kaligarič and Ms. Fassio, together with project partners also attended the lynx release in the Slovenian Alps.
