Slovakian LIFE Lynx team is setting up camera traps to discover the best lynx capturing locations. They have put some of the box traps deactivated in the field and discovered that at least three different lynx have visited these locations. One of them was a collared adult male lynx they named Vlado, who passed by three different box-trapping sites. At one site he went right through the deactivated box trap. Jakub Kubala from the Technical university in Zvolen says that this lynx is probably one of the biggest he has ever working with. We are looking forward to the next capturing season.
