Young lynx guardians and the opening of the Art exhibition »Let’s save the Lynx« in Kranj

Posted - Feb 24, 2020

Participation and involvement of young people are crucial in building the coexistence of lynx and humans, and we therefore have a foreseen collaboration with the schools within the Young Lynx Guardians programme within the LIFE Lynx project. On February, 13 2020 we made the first contact with The France Prešeren Kranj high school through a lecture about lynx and large carnivores by Urša Fležar from the Biotechnical Faculty and the opening of an art exhibition Let’s save the lynx, which will be displayed in the school until mid-March. We appreciate the interest and support expressed by the headmaster Mirjam Bizjak and Biology teacher Nina Ražen, with whom we will coordinate the programme for their school in the coming months.
