Presenting results of camera trapping in Gorski kotar

On Friday 8.3.2019. in the village Crni lug, Vedran Slijepčević from the Faculty of Applied Sciences in Karlovac presented fresh results from the past year of camera trapping. He also anounced the release of the romanian lynx which will take place in the next few weeks. Among the big public, there was a great number of hunters who expressed their interest in project activities. We were especially flattered by the support of dr. sc. Josip Malnar, the president of the Hunting Asocciation of Primorsko-goranska county. The most interesting part was at the end when the public suggested names for the upcoming lynx. Two names were finally picked for voting – Grof (count) and Furman (local name for a coachman).
