A lecture about the hidden life of lynx in Dinaric forests will be given by Lan Hočevar, a member of the LIFE Lynx project.
Lan Hočevar is originally from Kočevje and works at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Biotechnology, Department of Forestry. He spends most of his working time in the wild, collecting data on wildlife ecology.
He researches the ecology of large carnivores, and is particularly interested in the lynx. In his spare time he enjoys nature photography, cycling and hiking. In this lecture organized by DINA – center for large carnivores, you will learn how researchers study lynx, and about the behaviour and habits of Europe’s largest cat.
