10th LIFE Lynx project Steering group meeting and excursion in the Romanian Carpathian Mountains

Approximately twice a year the whole LIFE Lynx project team meets to evaluate the work done so far and to prepare plans for the work ahead. After more than a year, team members met in person and for the first time in Romania. The Steering group meeting took place in the beautiful scenery of the town Lepsa in the Putna-Vrancea Natural Park. After the meeting, partners from ACDB organized a two-day excursions in the Carpathian Mountains where team members visited the best location for lynx capturing in Romania, met with local hunters, visited a mountain pasture, and, as a cherry on top, saw a wild bear. Some impressions from the meeting and the excursions are gathered in the gallery below.
