On invitation of a local hunting association, Progetto Lince Italia presented lynx conservation needs of Dinaric-SE Alpine lynx population, to hunting grounds of northeastern Belluno province. 24 people were present, including 2 gamekeepers and 8 presidents of the hunting grounds of the Comelico area. The present status of the reinforcement was presented as well as the active role of the Slovenian hunters in the whole process. Recently LIFE Lynx project was also presented to hunters in Styria.
