We are getting ready for the first translocated lynx. If our Romanian and Slovakian partners are successful at capturing, the firs lynx should come to Slovenia and Croatia in the beginning of the next year. We prepared a special enclosure for quarantine before the release. First such enclosure was set up in the area of hunting club Loški Potok in close collaboration with local hunters. These hunters will be also responsible for feeding the animal during the quarantine. Translocated lynx should be submitted to as little stress as possible, so the enclosures and the exact time of arrival of the new lynx will be a secret, till the release time.
