In the middle of June, the LIFE Lynx team took part in the “Festival zdravja” in Kobarid, where we presented the lynx and the LIFE Lynx project. Our stand especially attracted children who visited the festival accompanied by their teachers. They were thrilled to be able to take a closer look and touch the lynx fur, skull and paw print casts of all three large carnivores living in Slovenia. Some visitors also tried their hand at the game of identifying lynx fur patterns; as you know each individual lynx has a unique pattern on its fur and can be identified by this.
Our team really enjoyed the festival and hopes to return to Kobarid next year for a new edition of the festival.
