This year, the Hunting Association of Slovenia and the LIFE Lynx project team are organizing the 13. Slovenian Hunters Day, titled ‘Lynx in Slovenia: the success of Slovenian hunting?’ The event will be entirely dedicated to raising awareness on the importance of lynx conservation and the involvement of hunters in activities within the project. It will be an all-day educational event, where lectures about lynx history, monitoring, lynx reinforcement to improve lynx population genetics, investigating illegal killing of wildlife and many others will be presented. The event will take place within the Hunting and Fishing Fair in Gornja Radgona on April 9, 2022, starting at 9 am.
