SUMMARY:LIFE Lynx Final Conference
DESCRIPTION:Our project has reached its final stage and the last year of its implementation. Last six years were an incredible journey\, 11 partner institutions from 5 countries successfully implemented numerous actions to ensure the bright future of the Dinaric and SE Alpine lynx population. We are very proud of our results and we would like to share them with you at the final conference of the LIFE Lynx project. This conference will serve as a platform for sharing our knowledge and experience about lynx conservation in Europe. Talks will be presented by LIFE Lynx project partners\, while other experts are invited to present their lynx related work through a poster session. \nLIFE Lynx project final conference will be held in Zadar\, Croatia on September 26\, 2023. On September 27\,  participants are kindly invited to join us on the field trip to National park Paklenica. Participation in both events is free  of charge\, also lunch will  be provided. \nRegistration for the conference are already closed.

SUMMARY:LJUBLJANA: The Lynx Trail Bikepacking Route and film Together for Lynx x Loose Cycles
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a social ride with Biologist Žan Kuralt and ultra endurance athlete Max Riese and learn about the Lynx Trail Bikepacking Route. \nAs gravgrav.cc together with I-RIS.cc and LIFE Lynx we launched the first educational bikepacking route “The Lynx Trail” through Slovenia and Croatia. A 3 to 4 day route starting at the DINA Pivka museum in Pivka\, Slovenia leading you through two National Parks to Rijeka\, Croatia at the Adriatic Sea. On the way you will learn about large carnivores and why they are important to our ecosystem. \nŽan Kuralt\, member of the LIFE Lynx team from the University of Ljubljana will join us for a talk and social ride from Loose Cycles in the heart of the city. We will guide you to the south of Lubljana and will try and find traces of the lynx that live there with the help of Žan.
