E.5 Engagement of Stakeholders and Target Groups

Posted - Dec 21, 2017

Active Engagement of Stakeholders and Target Groups through Customized Events, Personal Communication and Networking

For long-term acceptance of the lynx, it is important to gain and to maintain the support of the most important stakeholders and target groups-local hunters, journalists, environmentalists, local communities, etc. Through a variety of organized events and activities, we will keep stakeholders closely informed about our project and the overall importance of nature conservation, LIFE programme, and Natura 2000 network. Moreover, through events tailored for them, we will make the stakeholders part of the story of rescuing lynx from extinction. They will become messengers for the project, helping us gain and maintain support for lynx reintroduction among different types of the public.
